Join us in exploring the world! Each year we travel further and further off the beaten path to little known places.
Cure for Boredom: Curiosity
Cure for Curiosity: Travel
As a writer, counsellor, teacher, immigration officer, corrections worker, probation officer, parole officer, teacher of deaf adults, teacher of the criminally insane, counsellor to new immigrants, mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, I have a non-stop curiosity about people and places in every part of the world.
What about you? Are you curious about other places in the world? Do you long to travel to that one exotic place that has always intrigued you?
No Known Cure For The Travel Bug
Once the travel bug bites, there is no known cure. T, my husband, and “partner in crime” has developed that lust for travel that is so addictive.
Are you fascinated with other cultures? We love being invited to local festivities, experiencing exotic new foods and trying exciting new things like zip-lining, or white-water rafting, or canoeing on the ocean, or searching for crocodiles in the Amazon swamp at midnight by flashlight!
White Sand Beaches & Turquoise Water
Maybe quiet relaxing places are your up of tea. Don’t worry, we share our favourite quiet places with miles of fine white sand beaches and turquoise waters. Oh, and islands – we love those too. Follow us to find out more about little known and off the beaten path destinations.

I found the website is engaging, insightful, and entertaining.
You’ll love every second that you spend to find behind-the-pictures
stories. It really makes you feel you are experiencing a real life in Tonga.
Thank you Ashley! I’m so glad you feel that way!
I always love hearing your stories! One day will have some of my own, probably not as exciting though lol
Thank you Wendy! You’re the best!

Thought you would appreciate this one if you’ve never heard it before. Your cousin Joanne directed us to your site.
Here’s a variation on one of your quotes that speaks to us about travel:”The best journeys answer questions that you didn’t even think to ask”
Travel on,
Rose Lynn & Bill
Hi Rose Lynn & Bill! Thanks for checking in. I love the first quote – it’s my favourite, but I really like the second one because it’s provocative and so true. Thank you! I’ll add that one to my quotes. Please feel free to comment any time – good or bad. I love the feedback.
