Our style is sassy because it is a bit different, a bit bold, a bit adventurous, and as inexpensive as possible. Follow along for travel tips galore. Trends are more and more toward adventure travel, which we love, but we like comfort too, so we don’t do hostels and backpacking. On the other hand, luxury travel is out too because we like to experience the local culture, and like the average person, we simply cannot afford luxury travel. Still we travel somewhere every year, for at least a month, to one country, usually a little-known place. Our logic for spending a month or more in visiting that … More… →
After years of travelling all over the world, there are certain things that we consider travel must-haves when we travel. Here is our Travel Must-Haves List: Camera Sony Cyber-shot DSC R100 – this is the best little travel camera you could ever have. It takes high quality pictures in a pocket-fitting point-and-shoot size and it takes amazing night pictures. Its ability to take low-light pictures is a top feature for us, plus its small size, and compared to other cameras in the same price range of around $5-600, it has more of the high-end features than similar-priced cameras. … More… →
Wow! I just love BOOM Sticks. Compact cosmetics sticks, perfect for purse and travel. I don’t know about you, but when I travel, I rarely have time for make-up. We wanted to pass this quick tip on to you: if you’re looking at a flight for a vacation next winter, or anytime, take a look here first:

For years, we have wanted to go to Belize. Belize is located directly South of Mexico, below the Mayan Riviera on the Yucatan Peninsula. It was cheaper to fly into Cancun and drive down the Mayan Riviera coast, scattered with delectable turquoise beaches, and then drive on into Belize. Something always goes wrong on most trips. Seldom are they disasters, but still they are disappointing at the time. We expect to have little problems, so we never get too wound up about them. We flew into Cancun, and took a taxi to the Solymar Beach Resort … More… →
The Problem: The problem is that when you are working, you may not have much time off to vacation, or you still have commitments at home preventing you from leaving for any extended period. On the other hand, if you wait until you are retired, you will likely have less income (usually about half of working income plus savings), not to mention that you may start to have a few health issues, even something as simple as walking any distance. So what do you do? Why We Didn’t Wait: As we are getting older, we are realizing that … More… →
